7 Days of BlogMas: Tis the Szn for These Winter Obsessions

Welcome to Day 4 of our festive Blogmas series! Today’s all about sharing our latest obsessions, because who doesn’t love a good favourites list? From songs on reply, page-turning books and wellness treats, I have got you covered babes. So grab a cuppa, get comfy, and let’s dive into the fun!

My Current Music and Podcast Fixations...

Sabrina Carpenter has me hooked with Fruitcake—because who doesn’t love a little pop Christmas album full of bangers? Special shoutout to Cindy Lou, a song that hits like a deep, moody dive into the feels. Another artist I can’t stop listening to is Gracie Abrams. Her album The Secret of Us is the perfect soundtrack for unwinding, especially during a cosy bubble bath session. Bliss.

On the podcast front, I’m loving Goes Without Saying, especially their Podmas series. They’re tackling everything from mental health struggles to Christmas recommendations, plus all the relatable chaos that comes with this season. A standout episode for me was from Shameless Media – "What does a 30-something look like?" It’s such an insightful chat about plastic surgery, ageing in the era of social media, and so much more. Definitely, worth a listen!

My Favourite Wellness Things...

First up, Dash Drinks. I never thought I’d be a “seltzer person,” but here we are, I’m obsessed. They’re so refreshing and the perfect little pick-me-up during the day. Plus, one of the perks of working in marketing? I’m now on their PR list and collaborating with them on content. Win-win!

Another wellness staple I’ll never stop loving is the Form App. I’ve been hooked on the 12 Days of Workouts with Brynley. With life feeling so busy lately, these 30-minute workouts are an absolute lifesaver when I can’t make it to the gym. Short, sweet, and sweaty.

Okay, this might not technically fall under wellness, but I have to mention the Aldi Candle, a perfect dupe for The White Company. It’s minimalistic, smells amazing, and there’s just something so soothing about the ritual of lighting a candle ahead of an evening in front of the tele, pure cosy vibes!

For the Bookworms...

Looking for the perfect read over Christmas break? Well, here are my recent favourites:

"Variation" by Rebecca Yarros – This one had me hooked from the very first page. A beautifully heart-wrenching story that dives deep into love, loss, and the complexities of human connections.

"I Love You x3" by Laura Dockrill – An honest, raw exploration of relationships, self-love, and vulnerability. It’s quirky, witty, and full of soul—and yes, I sobbed.

"The Unhoneymooners" by Christina Lauren – A rom-com that’s the ultimate escape! Filled with laugh-out-loud moments, unexpected twists, and a swoon-worthy romance.

And If You’d Prefer Some TV To Unwind...

My top (and only) main recommendation right now is Tell Me Lies. I’m still speechless after finishing it a couple of weeks ago—it’s that bloody good. The series follows a complicated and intense relationship between two college students, full of twists, deception, and raw emotion. If you're into gripping drama with complex characters and plenty of surprises, this one’s a must-watch, and please message me after.

And there we have it, see you tomorrow for the ultimate friYAY feels with the next blog post, and as always, catch up on all things The Life of Molly every day and check out my IG here!
